Every Child Has Right to Enjoy a Healthy Life! And We are responsible for it.

One of India’s biggest challenges is to improve its global standing by increasing healthcare access and outcomes for children with cancer, with inferior overall survivorship compared with its Western counterparts. In conjunction with the govern- ment’s efforts, private enterprise is crucial in delivering optimal cancer care consistently to its vast and diverse pediatric population, despite existing limitations. The humble attempt of this Foundation is successful implementation of a value-based, collaborative clinical and research framework by a philanthropic organisation in a rural Northern Indian city to establish and run a local childhood cancer service. It is proof of the concept that substantial change could be brought about at grass roots level through resourceful partnerships with nongovernmental organisations who come on board for passion and commitment and reduce prevailing imbalance in pediatric oncology service provision

I am extremely fortunate to see my lifelong cherished dream accomplished in my lifetime. I am indebted to The Gita Vatika family for giving me this magnanimous opportunity of Seva. The inspiration has come from no other than the most reverend Pujya Radha Baba and Bhai Jee to make this sacred and blessed ground as the healing centre for masses. It should be harnessed as the modern and highly efficient cancer treatment and research centre to provide best and unconditional services for all. It should spread its wings in the rural and remote areas of this region.

Our goal will remain to serve the children suffering from any type of cancer, with utmost integrity, passion and sincerity, using the best possible available treatments.

We endeavour to educate and disseminate the measures of prevention, treatment and after care to ensure that each child reaches his/her maximum potential.

I invite all of you who share this website and our vision, to help build one of the finest centres in the world to treat children with cancer.

Children are the most treasured creation of our world and asset for its future. Arguably they are the greatest joy as well as the biggest challenge of one's life and yet have the natural simplicity.
